Rate Limits & Quotas
Rate Limits
Most Lightcast APIs are rate limited to 10 requests per second. Below are the rate limits for some of our most popular APIs:
- Core LMI API: 300 requests per 5 minutes
- Skills API: 5 requests per second
- Titles API: 5 requests per second
- Companies API: 5 requests per second
- JPA API: 10 requests per second
- Profiles API: 10 requests per second
Lightcast reserves the right to make changes to the above. If you need increased rate limits please speak with your representative or contact us at [email protected].
Quotas
Some Lightcast APIs have usage-based quotas. To learn more about quotas for your account, please contact your Lightcast representative.
As part of our Open Skills program the following API has this monthly request limit:
- Skills API: 50 requests per month
