What is changing?

Lightcast will expand its Profiles dataset to include data from our recent acquisition of Rhetorik. This will enable customers to see more profiles in the country of choice.

When will this change take place?

This change will be deployed 4 August 2025

What are the benefits of this change?

• This update will introduce new profiles and enhance existing profiles with additional information where applicable.

• This expansion improves coverage as seen below and depth across the dataset.

Impact

What will this change mean for me?

Customers can expect:

• A increase in tagging in some data fields. For example, in the United States profiles data will go from having an average of 9 skills tagged to every profile to 11 skills tagged to every profile.
• A increase in Total Profile counts across countries. The estimated increase is outlined in the table below:

What does this mean for my analysis?

Overall, customers will see more profile data. We would advise customers to re-run their analysis.
