Expanded Multilingual Global Profile Coverage
Updated multilingual capabilities release for Lightcast worker profiles
With our January 16, 2026 release, Lightcast is dramatically increasing the global coverage of our profile data, increasing our collection by 100m+ profiles!
The increase is driven by our expanded translation capabilities. Because we publish all profiles in English, we’ve invested in translating profiles from 17 source languages, along with a team of more than 20 in-house linguistic specialists who ensure high-quality, accurate translations. No other provider puts this level of resources into translating and enriching profile data.
By standardizing all profiles in English, we can consistently apply our global taxonomies for skills, occupations, education, and locations, resulting in a more complete, unified, and easy-to-consume database of professionals worldwide.
Lightcast's Workforce Profile Data now covers 600m+ profiles across 165+ countries, supporting 17 supported languages, all updated on a monthly basis. Here are the 17 languages we now support:
