Input-Output Model Documentation (I-O)

Lightcast has produced two technical documents that walk through how we construct our input-output (I-O) model. Both are intended for readers with considerable familiarity with I-O theory who are looking for an understanding of our specific method. In Lightcast I-O Model Documentation: Establishing the NAICS 6-digit US Base Model , we detail the features of our model and pay particular attention to the expanded US national I-O technology matrix that covers each of the roughly 1,000 NAICS 6-digit industry classification codes—a feature unique to the Lightcast I-O model.
